Step-Study Meeting

The WeAgnostics Thursday Meeting is a secular, virtual meeting. Although this meeting is considered a Step Study, we do not work the steps together in this meeting. Instead, we cycle through the 12 Steps in order. In the meeting we look at 5 different versions of the 12 Steps. We read the original ACA version and four versions that reflect a secular perspective on recovery.
We acknowledge that religious language is a barrier to many in recovery and strive to create a safe space where recovery is supported without that barrier. While participants are encouraged to share on the step presented by the chairperson, everyone is welcome to share on topics of personal importance.
